BASILICA OF SAINT STEPHEN - EDITED BASILICA PETITION BOOK

This book is an edited version of the official petition made by the Most Reverend Gregory M. Aymond to the Holy See Congregation for the Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments asking that St. Stephen Church be designated a minor basilica. The book 's author, Monsignor Christopher H. Nalty, has compiled a history of the church and parish as well as numerous photos with explanations of the inside and outside of the building.  The book would appeal to not only New Orleanians but historians and anyone interested in the basilica application process.  Copies can also be purchased and picked up from the Basilica Office at 1025 Napoleon Ave, New Orleans , LA 70115 during normal business hours ONLY after calling 504-899-1378.  If the book is to be mailed it must be done via this website.
