SHIPPING POLICY
Shipping Policy
GENERAL
We DO NOT ship Internationally. Orders are shipped as soon as possible. Usually custom created orders are shipped 5 – 7 business days from final approval. All other orders of physical goods (non-customed created) are shipped within 1 - 3 days. A selection of carriers, shipping methods and associated costs will be presented at checkout. On occasion, there will be a way to achieve a cheaper shipping cost. You will be contacted to receive your approval prior to modifying your selection. If no answer within 2 days, the original selection will be used for shipment.
LOST or DELAYS IN SHIPMENTS
Rudman's Gifts can not be held responsible for lost or delays in shipments by the selected carriers. Contact the carrier as soon as you are aware of the issue. Inform us immediately of any delays and we will assist you by contacting the carrier. If the carrier is liable for any refunds, we will process the claims and refund the buyer upon receipt of the carrier's refund. Refer to the particular carrier's website regarding these topics. REMEMBER most carriers DO NOT GUARANTEE any delivery dates during what they define as the Holiday Season, Other exceptions to delivery dates are listed on the applicable carrier's website.
INCORRECT, UNDELIVERABLE or INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES
Buyer is responsible to provide a correct deliverable address, including any suite, unit or apartment numbers and zip codes. If we become aware of any problems the buyer will be contacted and shipment held until the issues are resolved. Original shipping costs for returned packages are NOT refundable. Any costs to reship must be paid by buyer prior to package being reshipped.
DAMAGED PACKAGES
It is IMPORTANT that any visible damage to the package be reported to the carrier immediately. If the package is delivered in person by the carrier notes the damage prior to accepting or signing for the package. Please make us aware so we can also implement any assistance or claims. Immediate reporting is required since carriers have a limited time that they will accept a claim and Rudman’s Gifts does/can not extend their claim period.
Please keep all shipping boxes, packaging materials and damaged items in case the carrier wants to inspect. We will file claims with the carrier and either replace the item if still available in our inventory or a full refund at our discretion.
STOLEN or MISSING PACKAGES
Rudman’s Gifts is NOT responsible for packages once the carrier provides a proof of delivery. Tracking numbers are provided to you for packages sent and it is important to track the packages in order that you can assure the safety of your package. If the carrier shows delivery and the package is missing, contact both the carrier and make a police report as soon as possible.
Contact us and we will assist you in any way possible; however, we will not refund the cost or replace the items purchased. Should we be able to recover any amount from the carrier, that same amount will be reimbursed to the buyer.
